Harry's kicking it off tonight in the Sooner State. We'll be checking back for reviews.

The Winstar World Casino show was the best show I've ever seen! Harry was hilarious and the music was out of this world!!!

There was, however, an issue at this concert. The lady in row BB, seat 16, didn't realize she wasn't the only person there. I'm sure I'm not the only one who spent my hard-earned money to get the tickets and to get to the venue, only to have this inconsiderate person take a picture with her phone every five minutes. It was disrespectful to the musicians and to the audience. I know it would be great to be the only person in the audience, but she wasn't. I hope next time she'll take the feelings of others into consideration. Surely she knows it's against venue policy, and most of us know Harry's people never allow it. Why did she insist on being so selfish? crying.gif

I remember seeing these stories come up in the other threads on the 2010 tour. It's my opinion--and that's all it is--that a lot of the big-spenders and VIP's who sit in the front-row areas with the true fans are not really fans themselves. I believe there's a sense of entitlement b/c they have the big bucks and would behave that way at any venue, with any performer. For some of them, Harry's show is just another event in a long line of them.

I know that's painting with a broad brush, but it's my belief.

It was a great show and Harry was pretty darn funny
For the record, the winstar is really in the middle of nowhere.
The lady with the photos was in the row in front of me. Super annoying for sure.
A short list
And I love her
Close to you
All the way
St. James

A couple I had not heard in awhile live
Smile
It had to be you

All inconsiderate people aside, that's great that the show was a good time. Thanks for the reports.

"Close To You"--I think it has been a while since that one was done.

Maybe this time I'll finally see and hear St. James Infirmary.

One important thing I forgot to mention was NO NEAL.
I was ohmy.gif when a sweet baby faced 25 yo walked out to play bass.
His name is Phil and you could tell was pretty nervous at first.
I guess this was only the 2nd time he's played with Harry and the band.
Harry introduced him. Asked him are you single? Gay? Straight? Trying to hook him up.
For the record, he is single and straight.
He did a great job after he got into the groove as the night went along.

I saw Harry last night in Biloxi!!! It was a amazing concert in a great intimate venue!! He played several songs from "Your Songs" he also played Come By Me, Basin Street Blues, Infirmary Blues, Take Her to the Mardi Gras, and the encore was Mardi Gras in New Orleans (which included the booty shake)!!!

Harry was in a great mood, gave us a "history lesson", and told some other good stories. There was a meet & greet after the show. I didn't get to go to that : (. Does anyone have info on how to get into the m&g's?? I met Lucien last night which was beyond incredible!!! But....I soooo want to meet Harry!!!

It was a wonderful show and I throughly enjoyed my fourth row fan club seats!!!!! Can't wait to see him again!!!

My friend Scotty (who's from NYC) started introducing me to Harry Connick Jr.'s music a couple of years ago, whenever I would visit him in New York (he has every one of Harry's CDs). Well, last summer, we saw Harry Connick Jr. together on Broadway, and absolutely loved him!

Now my friend will be coming to RI in a couple of weeks to visit me, and we will be seeing Harry again at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.

I am a new fan! 2thumbup.gif

Sounds like a great show! My wife and I got a chance to meet Harry and get autographs after a show last summer. He came out long after the crowd was gone and the "official" M&G was over. I think somebody else in here mentioned that those "unofficial" opportunities vary by venue.

At any rate, VIP seats and the M&G's included are out of our price range for the time being, so I take the nosebleed seats every time to hear the music. But we'll get those front-row, center-stage seats one of these days.
