In 1995, Taylor Publishing Company released a book by Antonia
Felix entitled "Wild About Harry: The Illustrated Biography of
Harry Connick Jr." The book is very thorough and includes
hundreds of photos (black-and-white AND color) to complement
the text. Unfortunately, this book went out of print a couple
years ago and has been virtually impossible to find, aside from
the occasional lucky find in a used bookstore.
Your best bet is to search
eBay
and other auction sites and
hope that somebody is selling a copy. Other than that, you'll
just have to wait until a new publisher decides to back a 2nd
edition of the book. If/when that happens, you'll be the first
to know.
UPDATE! May 2002: I've been in touch with the author recently
and she informs me that a second edition of the biography is in the
works, which will include a new chapter covering 1995 to the present.
There are some new interviews lined up as well. The release date is
currently TBA.
